I believe that our experiences shape our worldview. I also believe that our worldview is shaped by our experiences. The purpose of this blog is to document my experience as a rookie language learner and a passionate traveler.

My Story

I am a senior at the University of New Haven majoring in English with a concentration in writing. I also double minor in Arabic Language-Region Studies and Professional and Technical Writing. When enrolling, I did not plan to major and minor in two languages; however as fate had it, I became a bilingual force of nature.

Learning a new language has open unexpected doors of connections, job opportunities, travel, and even greater awareness to the world around me! Join me in this learning adventure that may even change your life too!
